Mr. Marc hosts a virtual dance party

Get your family grooving with a virtual dance party

Is your family craving a new way to get the wiggles out? How about a virtual dance party? You can find a good one online thanks to the Brooklyn Public Library, which is hosting the Famajam Free Virtual Family Dance party at 11 a.m. to noon PDT Saturday (2 p.m. to 3 p.m. Brooklyn time), led by Mr. Marc.

The party will be via Zoom. For the link, register in advance here.

The dance party also promises to provide some educational content: “history, French language, classic records and much more,” says the web site.

It’s based on a program that last year played in person at public spaces around New York City.

For more active virtual fun: Seattle Parks Big Day of Play is on Saturday.
