The Seattle Humane Society is rolling out the red carpet for its elegant "tuxedo" cats, in celebration of the 2011 Academy Awards. Appropriately named the "Acatemy Awards," this event will take place on Saturday, Feb. 26 and Sunday, Feb. 27 at the Seattle Humane Society, located at 13212 S.E. Eastgate Way in Bellevue.
The Seattle Humane Society will waive adoption fees on all black and black and white tuxedo cats one year or older. These felines have been spayed or neutered, micro-chipped, vaccinated and health-checked. They will go home with 30 days pre-paid pet health insurance and a certificate for a free health exam.
