North Helpline Food Bank seeking food and baby cupboard donations

How you can help.

There's a great need for donations at North Helpline Emergency Services and Food Bank in the Lake City/Northgate area. Pick up some extra items while grocery shopping for your own families and drop them off at 12736 33rd Ave. N.E. (across from Fred Meyer) Tuesdays through Fridays from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. and Saturdays from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.

Here are a couple more ways to help: Get the family to volunteer at a food drive at a local grocery stor. Or donate to North Helpline's Baby Cupboard and Toddler Program, which has a need for formula, baby food, non-perishable food staples for kids ages 2 to 5, diapers, wipes, toothbrushes, hygiene products (shampoo, soaps, lotions), and other baby supplies for families with children younger than 2.

The nonprofit hosts an open house on March 18th from 5-7 pm with light refreshments; all are welcome.
