Seattle Girls' School participated in a conversation with Former Secretary of State Hillary Rodham Clinton and Chelsea Clinton on Thursday, April 17. They were selected as one of four schools across the nation to participate in this live Skype conversation as an exemplar of priming girls for leadership, and for the school's unique STEAM Program.
Seattle Girls' School was the only middle school selected – the other three schools located in Virginia, Ohio and Arkansas were high schools. The talk included the Clintons and Melinda Gates and centered on promoting girls' participation in the fields of math, science, technology, engineering and arts.
