Toy store alert: Snapdoodle Toys adds 5th Seattle-area location

Totem Lake shop joins stores in Seattle, Issaquah, Redmond and Kenmore.

Popular local retailer Snapdoodle Toys & Games is celebrating the opening of its fifth location, this one in The Village at Totem Lake (Kirkland).

Grand-opening festivities (including the chance to win prizes) will be held Saturday and Sunday, May 15-16, at the new store as well as the other Snapdoodle locations: Kenmore, Issaquah, Seattle and Redmond.

Snapdoodle, like many retailers, adjusted its operations to survive the pandemic. It offered online sales, curbside pickup and also by-appointment in-person shopping.

Recently, the Seattle location also added kids’ salon services.

Owned by the local Pickering family, Snapdoodle describes its business, and its mission as follows: “We offer a large selection classic toys and games that never grow old, along with the newest, most innovative playthings on the market. You’ll find fun and learning for everyone – from infants and toddlers to teens and adults.”
