Saturday, October 10, hop the ferry to Vashon to participate in the sweet CiderFest events happening around the island!
From 10 am to 2 pm, you can partake in a super-cool cider pressing by the Vashon Island Fruit Club at the Vashon Farmers Market, complete with a kids' cider press!
Other CiderFest events include a fire & rescue open house at Vashon's Fire Station 55; Nashi Orchards tasting room and orchard tours; Dragon's Head tasting room and orchard tours; and a Vashon-centric cider tasting for kids and adults alike, complete with a cider snow cone station for kids, music, and other activities.
