Free family-friendly FIFA World Cup watch parties and events in Seattle

More than 50 free ways to celebrate

You don’t have to be a soccer family to catch World Cup fever.

As one of the host cities for the FIFA World Cup 26, Seattle is rolling out dozens of free events where families can watch matches, kick around a soccer ball, enjoy cultural performances, and soak up the excitement of this historic moment. Rather than attempting to list every single World Cup-related event happening around town, we focused on three major programs offering the biggest lineup of family-friendly experiences: Seattle Center, Seattle Parks & Recreation, and Seattle Public Library.

Here’s where to join the fun this summer.

Seattle Center Fan Zone & Match Viewing Parties

Seattle Center, Seattle Kraken, and Climate Pledge Arena will provide a free, large, family-friendly, vibrant gathering place at the heart of the city’s celebration with the Let’s Play SEA’26 – World Soccer Fan Celebration at Seattle Center. This celebration is Seattle Center’s core public programming series during Let’s Play ’26, bringing together fan experiences, music, movement, art, culture, and community in one shared civic experience. Enjoy large screens, DJ sets, spectacles, and campus-wide activations — this is where the game’s energy comes to life.

The Armory will serve as the Center’s primary hub, featuring a large-format indoor screen and a comfortable, all-weather gathering space with food, seating, and amenities. Additional free fan experiences will take place across campus. The International Fountain will feature DJs and artists from Seattle and around the world. Cultural programming, public art, Festál activations, food vendors, kid-friendly play areas, and immersive fan experiences will animate the campus throughout the tournament.
