Seattle Children’s Hospital has been named to U.S. News & World Report’s 2026–27 Best Children’s Hospitals Honor Roll, placing it among 10 pediatric hospitals recognized nationally.
This is the hospital’s third consecutive appearance on the Honor Roll. Seattle Children’s also received the highest rating among Washington pediatric hospitals and tied with Children’s Hospital Los Angeles for the top position in the Pacific region, which encompasses Washington, Oregon, California, Alaska and Hawaii.
The hospital appeared in all of the pediatric specialties assessed by U.S. News. Four ranked among the 10 highest nationally: cancer; diabetes and endocrinology; nephrology; and pulmonology and lung surgery.
Seattle Children’s CEO Dr. Christopher A. Longhurst credited the recognition to employees and their committment to working helping families as they make difficult medical decisions while caring for children with complex conditions.
U.S. News developed the rankings with RTI International after examining information from 114 pediatric hospitals and consulting pediatric specialists. Hospital scores considered patient outcomes, adherence to accepted medical practices and resources devoted to patient care.
