The Central Sound Regional Science & Engineering Fair (CSRSEF) is a traditional science fair for high school students in King and Snohomish Counties. Students work individually or in teams of two to conduct independent research in one of 17 science, math or engineering categories.
All 9th- through 12th-grade students from public, private and home schools in King and Snohomish Counties in Washington are invited to participate. The deadline for registration is Wednesday, March 2. There is no registration fee. Students are encouraged to design their projects and submit the required forms before registering.
The 2011 CSRSEF will take place on Saturday, March 12, at Bellevue College. Prizes will be awarded to all category winners and several local and national organizations will be on hand to present special awards. The overall grand champion of the fair will win an all-expenses paid trip to the Intel International Science & Engineering Fair in Los Angeles in May.
