Early Achievers, Washington's quality rating and improvement system, helps ensure children receive quality care and education to prepare them for school and life. It is free to families and providers. Early Achievers rates the quality of childcare programs from level 1 to 5. At level 1, childcare providers meet Washington's licensing requirements for health and safety. Programs with higher ratings have strong instruction, training for staff and family engagement to support children's success. Childcare providers demonstrate a commitment to quality simply by participating in Early Achievers. Participating providers receive free training, technical assistance and scholarships. Early Achievers helps parents and families evaluate how programs and providers are preparing children to succeed. Ask your provider about Early Achievers.
