Cupid’s Quest Scavenger Hunt in Tacoma

Join for a scavenger hunt to help Cupid recover his lost hearts. When you find those lost hearts, bring them to the Pierce County Tent and you will be rewarded for your efforts with a delicious Valentine’s treat. There will be crafts and activities suitable for the whole family. North Meadow at Chambers Creek Regional Park in Tacoma. Feb 9, 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Free.

Valentine “Warm Fuzzy” Crafts at Burien Library

Come to the library with your kids to make warm fuzzies to give to your friends. Burien Library, Feb 9, 4 p.m. to 5 p.m. Free.

Vibrant Valentines Day Party

Dive into a variety of techniques for making eye-catching valentines. All children will have the opportunity to make cards using three different techniques at this card-making workshop, including printmaking, pop-ups, and more! KidsQuest Museum, Bellevue, Feb 9, 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. $35/member child, $40/non-member child, $25/member sibling or friend. $30/nonmember sibling/friend, adults are free.

Valentine’s Day Arts, Crafts and Sweets

Valentine’s Chocolate Fest

 What could be more perfect for Valentine’s day than chocolate? Come for some sweet Valentine’s fun as you and your kids create some colorful and delicious treats together! Imagine Children’s Museum in Everett, Feb 10, 10:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. $20 per adult-child pair (members) and $25 per adult-child pair for nonmembers. Pre-Registration required.

Kid’s Valentines Cookie Decorating

Join a fun-filled afternoon of cookie decorating. They provide delicious cookies and an array of colorful frostings and toppings for you to create your edible masterpieces. Ballard Pizza Company, Woodinville, Feb 10, 1 p.m. to 2:30 p.m. $10 per person.

Family Valentine’s Ball

This is for any youth and their special grown-up to enjoy a fun evening, dress up, and get a commemorative photo together. There will be light refreshments and a professional DJ. Valentine’s Day Gift Making at 3 Bears Studio

Bring your family and kids to make unique Valentine’s Day gifts, from personalized cards to handmade trinkets. 3 Bears Studio, Seattle, Feb 10, 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. $30 per person.

Valentine’s Pop-Up Market + Crafts

Bring the kids out of the city to a unique artisan market where kids can make Valentine cards and other holiday crafts at a crafting corner. Greenbank Farm, Whidbey Island, Feb 10, 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Free.

Valentine’s Day Dash + Kids Dash in Redmond

Bring the family to Redmond for a Valentine’s 5k or 10k run/walk. Redmond City Hall, Redmond, Feb 10, 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. $30 for youth 5k, $40 for 5k run/walk. A free kids dash event will be at 8:45 a.m. for children five and under.

Seattle’s PlayGarden Valentine’s Day Party

Bring your kids and family to Seattle’s PlayGarden for cookie decorating, a cozy campfire, a Valentine-making station, and, of course, time with their chickens, ducks, and rabbits! Seattle PlayGarden, Seattle, Feb 10, 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Free.

Valentine Dance at Issaquah Community Center

Celebrate Valentine’s with your children and be ready to show off your dance moves at a Valentine’s Dance. Issaquah Community Center, Feb 10, (K-2nd grade, 4-6 p.m.) and (3rd – 5th grade, 7-9 p.m.). Cost: $27-$32.

Valentine’s Family Bingo

Bring your friends and family for a fun evening of BINGO and enjoy complimentary snacks and the chance to win prizes. Tukwila Community Center, Feb 10, 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. Ages 5+. Cost: $5 per person.

Love at the Zoo

Feel the love as animals at Point Defiance Zoo & Aquarium dine on Valentine’s Day-themed treats. There will be a “Heart Hunt”; kids can send a valentine to a special furry friend. Point Defiance Zoo & Aquarium, Tacoma. Feb. 10-11, 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Included with admission: $22 for adults, $16 for children ages 3-12.

Wild Valentines Weekend Northwest Trek

Watch animals enjoy Valentine-themed enrichments and participate in a scavenger hunt. Northwest Trek Wildlife Park, Eatonville, Feb 10-11, 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Two kids 12 or under are free with each paid adult.

Valentine’s Day Crafting in the BAM Forum

Create greeting cards for your loved ones at BAM. Paper, pens, stamps, and other supplies will be provided for guests to draw, design, and decorate Valentine-themed handmade cards. Bellevue Arts Museum, Feb 14, 12 p.m. to 4 p.m. All ages are welcome. Free.

Valentine’s Wind Chime Workshop
