Wednesday, February 5
DIY Valentine’s Day Cards | Wednesday, February 5 | 3 to 5 p.m. | Richmond Beach Library | Free | Make Valentine’s Day cards for friends & family using paper, ribbon, rubber stamps, stickers and other items, while supplies last.
Valentine’s Day Card Making Workshop | Wednesday, February 5 | 4 to 5 p.m. | Covington Library | Free | Make cards for Valentines, pal-entines or even anti-Valentines. They will provide some samples for inspiration, but what you make is up to you. All supplies and snacks are provided. For kids aged 13-17.
Friday, February 7
Make and Take Valentine’s Cards | Friday, February 7 | 3:30 to 5 p.m. | Third Place Commons | Free | Drop in to make handmade Valentine’s cards, while supplies last. Sponsored by the Friends of the Lake Forest Park Library. Registration not required. Check the library website before attending in case of cancellation.
Valentine Making Event | Friday, February 7 | 5 to 8 p.m. | Coyote Central | Free | Register here | Coyote will be opening its doors for a sweet evening of crafting, cardmaking, and community. There will be cocoa, sweet treats, a community resource station, and more.
Saturday, February 8
Valentine’s Day Dash Alexander’s Hope | Saturday, February 8 | 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. | Bellevue Park | $30 for Youth 5K , $35 for 5K Run/Walk, Free for Kids Dash | Register here | Dogs & strollers are both welcome at the race, which will begin at Bellevue Park. The Kids Dash starts at 8:45 a.m., a small loop around the venue for kids 5 and under. The Kids Dash is free, and you can sign up on their RunSignUp or on a sheet at packet pick up.

Pasado’s Safe Haven Sanctuary & Sweets | Saturday, February 8 | 10:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. | Location provided upon reservation | $40 for adults, $25 for kids ages 4-10, free for 4 and under | Register here | During a 90-minute guided walking tour, guides will introduce you to the loving residents while you hear their inspiring stories of rescue and recovery. After, you will receive a box full of vegan desserts baked by Chef Amy Webster.
Little Crafternoon Valentine’s Day-Themed | Saturday, February 8 | 2 to 5 p.m. | Sammamish Library | Free | Come to the children’s area for fun, low-mess paper crafts for kids aged 9 and younger. Practice drawing, coloring, and using scissors with child-friendly, Valentine’s-themed activities. All materials provided. Space and supplies are limited.
Valentine’s Day Dance | Saturday, February 8 | 4 to 9 p.m. | Issaquah Community Center | $27+ | K-2nd Grades (4-6 p.m.) register here, 3rd-5th Grades (7-9 p.m.) register here | This is the perfect “date night” for you and your elementary school-aged child. Accompanying adult is welcome to bring more than one child for no extra cost (child MUST be elementary school age). If you have children in both age groups, choose either timeframe. Photo packages are available.
Kids Invite Someone Special Valentine’s Dance | Saturday, February 8 | 6 to 8 p.m. | Redmond Old Fire House Teen Center | $15-$18 | Register here | Enjoy music, dancing, refreshments, crafts, photo opportunities, and more. This dance is designed for children ages 4-12 and their designated adult guest(s). Semi-formal attire is encouraged, but not required. Must register to attend.

Sweetheart Family Dance | Saturday, February 8 | 6:30 to 8 p.m. | Edmonds Waterfront Center | $15 per person | Register here | Bring your sweethearts for an evening of dancing, crafts, snacks, and fun. Tickets sell out fast so register in advance (they will not be sold at the door).
Valentine’s Market in Kenmore | Saturday February 8 & Sunday, February 9 | 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. | The Lodge at St Edward State Park | Free | Discover gifts from a diverse selection of over 25 local artisans. Whether you’re shopping with your Galentines or browsing with the family, you’re sure to find a unique, locally-made item that expresses your love and appreciation.

Toddler Valentine’s Party | Tuesday, February 11 | 10 to 11 a.m. | Laurelhurst Community Center | $6 | Register here | The pint-sized event will have games, arts and crafts, music, treats, and fun for all. This event is for ages 1-5, and there will be activities focused on each age group. Valentine-themed outfits are encouraged but not required! Pre-registration required.
Valentine Story Time & Sing Along | Tuesday, February 11 | 4 to 4:30 p.m. | Ravenna-Eckstein Community Center | Free | Bring your favorite stuffed animal and join this Valentine Story Time & Sing-Along with a LIVE banjo accompaniment. Designed for ages 6 and younger.

Family Valentine Craft Night | Wednesday, February 12 | 5:30 to 6:30 p.m. | Woodmont Library | Free | Register here | Bring your own project to work on or create something with different types of provided materials and mediums. There will be supplies available to create seasonal notes and mini Valentine or pal-entine cards. Designed for ages 6 and older.

Valentine’s Party | Friday, February 14 | 10:30 to 11:30 a.m. | We Be Book’n | $10 per child | Come join Empowered Early Learning for a Valentine’s Day-themed party with crafts, snacks, and stories at this kid-friendly event. Designed for children 2-6.
Valentine’s Day Story Time | Friday, February 14 | 11:15 a.m. to 12 p.m. | My Gym Kent | $10 for nonmembers, free for members | Register here | Join Valentine’s Day activities including games, gymnastics, playtime, and themed Storytime. Designed for kids 6 months to 10 years old (parent-supervised event).
Valentine’s Day Fun in the Park | Friday, February 14 | 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. | Westlake Park | Free | Stop by the park and grab a sweet treat or make a free floral bouquet or card for a loved one, in partnership with Goldenrod Floral Design and SilverKite Community Arts.
Adult and Child Valentine’s Cookie Decorating | Friday, February 14 | 1 to 2 p.m. | Old Fire House Teen Center | $16+ | Tickets here | All supplies will be provided, and registrants can expect to go home with sugar cookies to enjoy together or give as a gift. This activity is designed for children ages 4-8 and their designated adult guest(s). Must register to attend.
Finger Print Love Art | Friday, February 14 | 2:30 to 3:30 p.m. | Fall City Library | Free | Share a story together, then do some finger printing to make people and animals.
Valentine’s Day “You Rock” Paint Party | Friday, February 14 | 4 to 5 p.m. | Burien Library | Free | Paint and decorate rocks to give to your friends and family for Valentine’s Day. Supplies provided. Ages 7 and younger with an adult.
Light-up Valentine’s Day Cards | Friday, February 14 | 4 to 5:30 p.m. | Enumclaw Library | Free | Make an LED-powered Valentine’s Day card. This event is tailored for tweens and teens (ages 9 to 12) and doesn’t require registration. First come, first served while supplies last.
Valentine’s Day | Friday, February 14 | 4 to 7 p.m. | KidsQuest Children’s Museum | $16 for non-members, free for members | Tickets here | A full museum takeover with activities that dive into science and love. At this super science night love lab, you will decorate a cookie, make a love boat and taste test a love drop. Mr. Bri Guy will be performing love songs at 4:30 and 5:30 p.m.

Valentine’s Truck Kids Class | Saturday, February 15 | 10 to 11:30 a.m. | Wine & Design | $35 per child | Register here | Kids explore their inner creativity by joining this painting lesson. All canvases are lightly pre-sketched to get your child started. There will be refreshments for the kiddos and all supplies are provided. Be sure to dress your child in paint-friendly clothing for this class.
Hearts and Hounds | Saturday, February 15 | 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. | Kirkland Urban | Free | Join this Valentine’s Day event with your furry pets and family, packed with fun activities, including Valentine’s Day-themed craft stations for humans AND dogs, a photo booth, a live DJ and much more.
PDZA Love at the Zoo | Saturday, February 15 & Sunday, February 16 | 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. | Point Defiance Zoo & Aquarium | Free with zoo admission | Tickets here | Watch animals enjoy Valentine-themed enrichments like heart-shaped ice treats, bamboo hearts, whipped cream, watermelon, and more. Find the 12 big heart cutouts in a zoo scavenger hunt. Kids can also send a special furry friend through the zoo-themed Valentine’s activity.
