Franklin High School Student’s Rap About Education Finalist in Nationwide Video Contest

Franklin High School student Fletcher Bailey was a finalist in a national video contest focused on the importance of a good education. Each contestant submitted an original rap or spoken-word video about one minute long. Portland student Ezekiel Jones was the overall winner.

The videos were judged by contest sponsors Def Jam Enterprises, BET Networks and the Get Schooled Foundation. In his video, Bailey pointed out that many rappers have college degrees. To view his video, visit the Get Schooled web site (filter videos by school on the site).
