Help Monster celebrate its new Ballard home Feb. 2

Monster, the Ballard shop that supports independent artists and offers unique products for families, is relocating and will celebrate with a “We Moved A Little Bit" party on Sunday, Feb. 2.

The party, from 1-6 p.m., will include a Ballard-themed art show, a painting and drawing event, custom button design and lots of giveaways.

Situated (both before and after) in the heart of Ballard, Monster features local art, clothing, accessories, gifts, greeting cards and "lots and lots of socks," according to a news release announcing the move. New offerings will include DIY craft kids, arts and crafts classes for all ages and an expanded selection of work by independent artists.

Monster's new address, by the way, is 1716 N.W. Market St., just a few blocks from its current home.
