Locally roasted nuts the way our grandparents liked ’em

There are roasted peanuts. And then there are CB’s Nuts.

There are roasted peanuts. And then there are CB’s Nuts, barrel roasted in small batches under the watchful eye of a roastmaster for optimal flavor, sourced from growers in the Southwest.

These fragrant, tasty snacks are just the way Clark Bowen (the CB in the name) recalls from his childhood in Wenatchee. His headquarters in Kingston, Wash., roasts fresh peanuts, pumpkin seeds, almonds, cashews and more, and also grinds its own fresh nut butters. Find them at PCC Natural Markets, Albertsons, Whole Foods and Eat Local. Or take the Edmonds ferry to Kingston and visit the roastery and tasting room, where the kids can build their own ultimate PB&Whatever (and you can savor local beer, wine and cider). cbsnuts.com
