Mission InspirEd: Got a kid who’s into computers?
Signup is still open for the Mission InspirEd virtual hackathon, InspirEd Hacks. The theme this year is Empowering Communities through Education. Deadline: Thursday, June 24 at 11:59 p.m.!
The Mission InspirEd hackathon, including various workshops for participants, is a nationwide initiative for students ages 10 to 18 that runs from June 25 to June 27, with teams of one to four tweens and teens creating a coding project to show off their skills and creativity, and there’s a chance to win prizes. The goal is to create a product to benefit the educational community.
The nationwide event, InspirEd Hacks, is being organized by Mission InspirEd, which is a student-for-student nonprofit. Mission InspirEd’s stated goal is to “create a launchpad for student success” and it also provides access to free classes, tutoring and seminars to fight disparities in education.
Registration for the event ends at 11:59 p.m. on June 24.
