Preschool at the Harbor (P.A.T.H.) is a shining light for families seeking a warm, welcoming and fun learning environment for children ages 3 to 5. P.A.T.H. seeks to love their neighbors – families and children from all backgrounds – by providing developmentally appropriate opportunities to nurture each child's sense of accomplishment and personal growth. It provides an environment which allows each child to learn through interactive play, utilizing music, art, science, language, pre-reading, math, pre-writing and dramatic play. It believes that young children learn best by doing and by finding activities that they plan, carry out and reflect upon. Learning at P.A.T.H. is not simply repeating what someone else says; it requires active thinking and experimenting to learn firsthand about the world we live in.
