Puyallup Spring Fair

Puyallup Spring Fair: 2 weekends of fair fun in April 2022

Here's what not to miss as the fair runs April 14-16 and 21-24, 2022.

The Puyallup Spring Fair is almost here: You’ll have two weekends to get your fix of baby animals, rides and fair food favorites.

The dates are April 14-16 and 21-24, 2022.

After running the event in a hybrid format last year, the traditional fair environment is back.

Highlights will include The Farm at Sillyville, where kids can “play farmer” while also learning about agriculture in Washington state; racing pigs and dock dogs; face painting (free for kids 12 and under!); kid-size tractor driving; a Creative Kids competition and much more.

Motorsport Mayhem, featuring tricked-out monster trucks and smashing cars, is the second weekend only (and tickets cost extra).

Admission tickets are available now, and they cost less if purchased before opening day, April 14. According to the fair, tickets are cheaper online and can be used any day. When buying tickets onsite, weekend days have higher admission.

Good to know: Kids 5 and under get in free.

In addition, there are these promotions:

  • Thursday, April 14: Kids 18 and under get in free by bringing a food donation; everyone gets in free from 2 to 4 p.m.
  • Friday, April 15: Military Appreciation Day. Free admission for active, reserve, and retired military (including National Guard) and their dependents, with military ID.
  • Thursday, April 21: Free admission all day for kids 18 and under.

And for those of you planning ahead, the Washington State Fair (Puyallup Fair to many of us traditionalists) runs Sept. 2-25, 2022.
