Kids can build the fort of their dreams with endlessly adaptable Fort Boards

Like most kids, August Graube loved building forts as a child. Unlike most adults, his fort-building passion continued into adulthood, to the benefit of children everywhere. Following a strict criteria that his fort design had to be fun, intuitive, pack-up small and enable children to build anything, Graube went through 165 design versions before developing the final version of Fort Boards. Graube’s design allows children to create the fort of their dreams using plastic boards and connectors, all made in America. “As a kid, I wanted to crawl into my Lego creations,” said Graube. With Fort Boards, kids can create, crawl into their creations, break them down and start all over again.

Each box of Fort Boards comes with 20 square feet of fort-building material and inspiration to build anything from a rocket ship to a castle façade and even an octopus. Imagination is your child’s only limit. Fort Boards pack up tightly and can be easily transported from the playroom to the park. While ideally suited for children over the age of 5, Fort Boards are also fun for kids aged 3-5 with the assistance of their parents.

Little builders can customize their creations with add-on packs of Design Cards, which come in wood, stone and metal designs. The backs of the design cards are blank, so your budding artists can create their own designs.
